Nightingale is one of those units that's tough to rank. In her niche of defense against Arts damage, she can seem like the greatest unit in the game. In certain stages such as H8-4 or IS#4 ED3, she can seem downright vital! But that's not a large chunk of the game, and outside of that she is merely "ok", which for an expensive 6★, can be a tough sell. In the modern meta, Nightingale leans more towards the utility-tier of things. That is, she's a unit that's well worth raising, but not one of the first you should raise. There's too many ultra powerful units these days to give a high priority to a "specific solution" sort of unit, even a great one like Nightingale, but she is still well worth owning and promoting once you take care of the more core roles in your team. For that purpose, S3 is her primary skill and the only one worth consideration most of the time. The improvement on RES from the skill includes the 15 granted from her Talent, and since RES is a proportional reduction in damage (15 RES is 15% less damage taken), the improvement here is a significant reduction in damage from Arts sources, even on units with no RES at base. This is the key to almost all of Nightingale's
